How does the contest work?
It's easy, just show us your holiday lights! Once the exterior of your home is decorated take a photo to share with us. Upload a picture of your home on the "Submit Your Photo" page. You also have the option to upload a video of your light display. It is important that you submit your home or have the homeowner's permission in order to participate. Consider sharing your address so your hometown neighbors can come by and see your decorations when checking out local holiday lights. (If you are already signed up for WDBJ7 deals your username and password will be the same. You can just log in and submit your photo.)
Starting December 13 the voting will begin so encourage your friends and family to join the fun. In the meantime enjoy looking through the submitted photos to see who has the best holiday light display!
Are there prizes?
Of course! The home that receives the most votes for best with the best light display will receive a visit from Brent Watts and a WDBJ7 camera crew. On December 20 WDBJ7 will do a LIVE WEATHER FORECAST from your front yard to show off your holiday lights. What are you waiting on? Finish decorating and share your photo!
